The minimal cut-off mark for admissions in the 2022/2023 academic session has been set by JAMB and the and heads of tertiary education institutions in the country.
The minimal cut-off mark for universities is 140, while that for polytechnics and colleges of education is 100.
These were disclosed on Thursday during the current Policy Meeting on Admissions in Abuja, chaired over by the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu.
The implication, according to JAMB's registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, was that the cut-off was established after extensive deliberations and votes by vice chancellors of universities, rectors of polytechnics, and provosts of colleges of education.
