Datti Baba-Ahmed has been named as Peter Obi's running mate.

Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate, has announced Datti Baba-Ahmed as his running mate.



Ahmed, 46, is the founder of Baze University in Abuja and a former senator from Kaduna North Senatorial District. He was unveiled on Friday, July 8.

This comes just 24 hours after the Director-General of Peter Obi Campaign Organisation, Doyin Okupe, announced his withdrawal as the party's vice-presidential candidate.
