An Annapolis Corrections Officer who allegedly had 50 or so sexual encounters with an inmate has been detained, according to authorities.
Following an investigation into claims of sexual contact that were made back in June, Tajudeen Olarotimi Durodoye, 55, of Glen Burnie, was detained on Thursday, July 7, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
On Thursday, June 16, the police received information about a potential sexual offense involving Durodoye and an inmate, which prompted an inquiry.
The female prisoner who allegedly said Durodoye had sexually abused her between 40 and 50 times in recent months was interviewed by detectives from Anne Arundel County Police, according to the charges.
The woman had raised her shirt one night in May, and according to the police, Durodoye was caught on camera reaching into her cell and caressing her. Investigators learned from the lady that the correctional officer would enter her cell, order her to remove her clothes, and then request over an intercom that she engage in sexual activity in front of a camera within the cell.
